    These are the impressive final stats for the Festival d'Aix-en-Provence, an event Opera Lively highly admired. We are still processing the phenomenal exclusive interviews we got from several artists in Aix; stay tuned for these interesting pieces.

    97,9% seat-occupancy rate of operas
    94,2% seat-occupancy rate of concerts
    39 972 seats for the operas and concerts (excluding the Académie)
    35 554 seats for Aix en Juin, the Académie, public rehearsals and screenings

    17 004 spectators including 12 736 free entries
    4 155 Pass sold (Aix en Juin and the Académie – 723 free Pass for young people under 30)

    56 events including 24 scheduled as part of Aix en Juin
    253 young artists (singers and instrumentalists) – 45 nationalities
    21 composers
    9 world premieres (including 8 commissioned by the Académie) and 1 French creation
    16 concerts out of Aix en Provence as part as Aix en Juin and the Académie tour

    PASSERELLES: EDUCATION AND SOCIAL ARTISTIC ACTIONS
    3 201 young people from 87 education institutions (middle schools, high schools, colleges, music schools, conservatoires)
    1 170 students from Aix-Marseille University (370 people from Opéra ON programme)
    2 250 young people and adults with 110 associations
    220 amateurs and 1 450 spectators for Ouverture[s]

    5 operas recorded for televisions and websites
    8 evening performances/recordings on France Musique

    3 webdocs (available on the Festival d’Aix website)
    4 immersive 360° video recordings (Kalîla wa Dimna, Il Trionfo del Tempo e del Disinganno, Così fan tutte and SolOmax de R. Imbert)
    32 screenings in 28 different cities in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region
    41 screenings in France and in 18 foreign countries
