    Dear readers, this festival is very promising, and it includes an opera. It will happen in Annandale-on-Hudson, 90 miles north of New York City (round trip by train is available for $30), with 7 weeks of opera, music, dance, film, theater, and more, with a strong focus on French culture.

    The event takes place in an outstanding venue, the Richard B. Center for the Performing Arts at Bard College, by architect Frank Gehry. Just look at these pictures!
