Les Troyens - The Opera Lively translation into English of the libretto

Opera Lively has delivered to the English-speaking operatic community a contribution of some significance: as far as we know (and after two weeks of hard work dealing with a very complex text that makes constant reference to Greek Mythology), we have just made available worldwide the *first ever* online *free* source for the English translation of Berlioz's original French libretto of his epic opera Les Troyens. While another translation from the early 70's (still under copyright) does exist as a printout that is sold by online vendors for about $15, and while there is a way to download a photocopy of that translation (by David Cairns) in pdf format from an Australian site for about $16, immediate free online consultation wasn't available except to members of certain library systems. Since we believe that this masterpiece deserves more diffusion, we fixed that, by doing our own translation and publishing it here:

A basic/literal translation was done by Almaviva, and Soave_Fanciulla extensively fine-tuned it and gave to it a more literary/poetic touch.

Frankly, we believe that we did a fairly good job, and that fans of this opera will enjoy our translation. We are happy to provide this service to the operatic community, but it must be noticed that our translation, while available for free consultation, is still copyrighted, and not to be reproduced without authorization and proper credit. Links to our translation and the publication of small excerpts - about the size of the equivalent of an aria - with proper credit can be done without formal authorization, but anybody interested in reproducing large chunks of this translation elsewhere, should use the "Contact Us" feature to request the authorization, otherwise they might be found to be in violation of copyrights.

Apparently on Soave's computer the text is not showing side-by-side, but is running over the lines with one column narrower than the other one. In my computer although the second column is a bit narrower, the text displays perfectly side-by-side. I think it may be an issue with how her screen resolution is set, but I don't know. Is anybody else experiencing the same problem? Technology wizards among us, any advice?
