Have just come across mention of this, it's aimed at singers so not sure how interesting it would be for a fan.

MY Christmas present from my husband:
Fun and light-hearted "dipping into" book
Natalie
Hehe, I got this one too, and Natalie will remember why... It was before your time at TC, Schigolch; we got a crazy Italian voice professor who recommended this book, but then proceeded to utter a string of colorful words at anybody who would disagree with anything said by the author... We got to learn a list of insults in Italian, and he got himself banned, LOL. It was Gaston's first day as moderator...
"J'ai dit qu'il ne suffisait pas d'entendre la musique, mais qu'il fallait encore la voir" (Stravinsky)
The book is good.
Then, crazy people can really be anywhere.
