Since when did Les Troyens get renamed as Don Giovanni?

(it is hard to mess up Le Nozze but I think M22 version has done just that)

It's almost not possible to mess up Le Nozze. College students put it on. If they rated operas on scales of difficulty for singers, Le Nozze would get a 2 out of 10 on the difficulty level. In what way is it messed up?

    Where does one begin....
Check Cherubino "getting busy" with Countessa/Susanna on fur coat after "voi che sapate" gets them horny 1:07 mark. As an added bonus we get Soave's fav leading man Bo Skovus!

Also if youuuu liiike your Nozzeeee vveeeeeeeeeeery veeeeeery sloooooowww so everyone almost expires trying to get through their numbers. (Actually that might explain Skovus' copious sweating which adds a novel accent to his already second-tier singing.)

I've had it with these modern travesties. I spend no money on them.

That is a really messed up Nozze, indeed. I still kind of like it because Anna still saves the whole thing, I think (one needs to love Anna to allow this product to be worthy of a purchase - I wish we could edit everybody else out of it and just keep Anna), although one keeps asking oneself - what is such a nice and pretty singer doing in this mess??? Well, Christine Schäfer is also good in this, she does a good Cherubino. But that's pretty much it. Anna and Christine are trying to bravely fight off the nonsense that this production is.
