I'm going to take a wild stab in the dark and say Itullian is a bit of a Wagner fan...

I like Wagner's operas (usually), but wouldn't consider myself a diehard fan.

Most of the tracks are big favourites of mine.

Not sure exactly what the Caldara work is, opera or vesper or ? but it sounds really great and you can't go wrong with Rene Jacobs / Harmonia Mundi releases, beautiful sounding music and arias.......

Itullian cost me some money with Wagner purchase, but used version was cheap and allows me sample of Kempe 1960 Ring....

Had a little preview of this when I backed it up. The singing sounds great, but the wigs, oh my. They look like Halloween rejects.

More The Gambler homework. This is supposed to be the best recording & have just ordered a cheap-ish 'used' one.

If you think I'm a tad obsessive, this guy listened every day for six months!

Good grief, I think I'd even get tired of Fidelio if I did that!
