I love this opera both singing and music, all the great sopranos have recital CDs with the great aria "Ebben? Ne Andr Lontana"
Actually this purchase was made on your recommendation of the opera...

Well once I knew it had been published in the land of the rising sun (if in doubt, always try going to Japan; many, many opera nuts there) it was easier to find. Try a search on "Norma Varviso".

They are trading for about USD 120 each. I know this is a ridiculous price to pay for a CD but Norma is an opera that is important to me.
I was even willing to buy a turntable if I found a decent enough LP, so this price was okay for me. Just no more Lagavulin for the rest of the year!

I will give a proper report once I receive the disc.

I'm not sure I'd even pay US$120 to have Jonas do a lap dance for me.

    Neither would I.

Unless it came with a Wintereisse recital.

    Then I would.

Sorry to interrupt the lap dance ideations, although I would otherwise have something to say about La Mijanovic, asI'm afraid on-topic items must again intrude.

Recently purchased. Also purchased a couple of Messiahs but not being operas, they must go unlisted here.

A duplicate of the Hercules kept popping up in the preview and I couldn't get rid of it. Please note that this does not mean that I purchased the same item twice. Not even I would do that.

Never try to teach a pig to sing. You will waste your time and you will annoy the pig.
