Discount code to Shanghai Opera's Thunderstorm in London

As part of the long expected Shanghai Season at London's famous Coliseum in West End, the English National Opera is proud to present China’s most famous play adapted and performed by the award-winning Shanghai Opera House.

Thunderstorm, now transformed into an opera, offers an insight into the sorrows, tragedies, and corruption of a love affair affecting a once content and happy upper class family who are now at risk of losing their respectability, honour, and even some of their members. We meet the family during the silence before the big storm that gradually seems to be approaching - a process so perfectly timed that it leaves the audience with spine shivering wow's, gasping oh's, and a near to obsessive curiosity for the whole period of the show.

Written and composed by artistic genius Guoyong Zhang, this opera promises to be as beautiful and compelling as the original all-time favourite of fine arts lovers all over the world.

Nice, thanks. We do have members in London so maybe someone will take advantage of this offer. Welcome to Opera Lively and feel free to diffuse other ENO productions here.
