And what a delightful young person too!

I'm in awe. A new Mozart! I mean, composers spend years writing their pieces... this young lady, a child, gets four random notes, thinks for a minute, and produces a lively, varied, and compelling improvisation that really sounds like the accomplished works of veteran composers! Impressive! Do we know more about her?

    There's some more information here.

This is fascinating. Her Wikipedia entry, with a lot of info plus several links:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alma_D...e_of_melody%22

You should see what Zubin Mehta, Sir Simon Rattle, and Anne-Sophie Mutter said about her (click on the link for her Cinderella opera (her second).

    She is the real deal.

We should try to interview her. She is with the Askonas Holt agency and I have a good relationship with them.

I have been following her for a couple of years now. She is a very articulate young person. The main gateway to her would be through her father Guy Deutscher, a distinguished linguist in his own right.

Whatever you do don't compare her to Mozart. People are always doing this and she wants to be thought of as "a little Alma, not a little Mozart".

Yes, I read that part, in the materials about her. She is right, and it looks like she is very insightful about the whole thing (her talent, her career, her place in the current musical environment, etc.).
