Oh yay! Been waiting for the Giulio Cesare! And yes, I'll have to get that *and* the Ligeti as well!

If you like Ligeti and contemporary music, it is.

We have had discussions with Alma if Dessay is really bare chested or a replica cover, I think Dessay is free spirit so I say real

I saw the Giulio Cesare when it was available on YouTube. I wasn't that taken with it, the production was too silly, Dessay unconvincing, and some of the artistic decisions about ornamentation frankly horrible. Sure, ornament, but when the da capo part becomes unrecognisable then no thanks for this girl.

And those boobs were no more real than Hypsipyle's in Il Giasone, and a lot smaller.

Definitely not real. We've seen her real ones and they look nothing like that.

I must have missed that opera, where did we see the "real" ones?

I see. In that case, I will still buy one but put on my "reviewing mode" and listen to it as "pure music".

If anyone knows whether "assets" are real or not, it will be Alma!

Every time I read a comment like that from Almaviva, I have this mental picture of Countess Almaviva rolling her eyes ...

Not to usurp Almas expertise but my keen eye say they are real natural breast but they have fine sheer body stocking over them that from a distance looks nude, see for yourself at 42:40
