    The sound on Gorecki's 3rd is fine, but apparently my system must have some interface problems with DG recordings; they sound underpowered, as in not enough sound. Funny that happened with my old DG cassettes too, way back in the day. Is a puzzlement. Aside from that I liked Herbie's Rheingold. His Wotan not so much. Sometimes I thought it was Donner doing the singing for him.
