    Dont cha, dont cha

It's a little rough in places, but what do you think? Any commercial potential?

Mmm. Maybe, maybe. To the tune of 'My Old Man's a Dustman' perhaps?

Well, Anna Moffo was pretty, but hey, she had facial plastic surgery.
Anna Netrebko is a natural La Bellissima.

Well, the commercial potential only exists if you convince my cousin to sing it and record it.

Ummm..., but what do you mean by 'raw'? Cool? I thought it was a synonym for 'hot'?

LOL- maybe I'm over-thinking lyrics (because outside of opera, when did lyrics ever have to make sense?)

Did she have more than just a slight nose job? I know she blamed it on her vocal problems later, but I thought that was simply because she overdid the performing.

She looks very pretty in her earlier photos which might have been from before her surgery.

Well, I don't want to know. She's artificial. Anna N. is naturally beautiful, period.

It's the famiglia. One needs to protect the famiglia. She is, as you know, my cousin.

Well, because the name of this thread is "What have you been listening to lately" and not Anna vs Anna:

But many opera lyrics don't make sense either so those lyrics are fine

I got that when I was in my 'buy anything with Sherrill Milnes' phase. Love it.

And when I read this, I couldn't help but think of Act I, Scene I of Weber's Oberon:

    Aria

    OBERON
Fatal vow! - Not even slumber can thy
    Victim's torture tame!
Of my woes it swells the number,
Of my wrath it feeds the flame!
Still I burn, and still I anguish,
Doubled in my dream I feel
    Every pang of waking anguish,
But no balmy wounds to heal,
Fatal vow! - Not even slumber
    Can thy torture tame!
Of my woes it swells the number,
Of my wrath it feeds the flame!
    Fatal vow!

I think it must lose something in translation...
