I think Arnold Rutkowski is an great tenor from Poland ( I saw here few names of polish singers). His voice and technique is very good, especially you can hear his progress in his performances from Moscow (I can add some ytb link If you'd like to), he was also invited by Placido Domingo a few years ago, to perform on his concert in Poland.
I would add him.
Thanks for the recommendation, Kate! And welcome to the forum! I hope we hear a lot more from you.![]()
Welcome to Opera Lively, Kate.

Thank you very much AmfortasI'll do my best to support the forum.
( I have to admit, by the way, that your Username on this forum reminds me of the great Parsifal by Wagner - such an nice associationI very enjoyed this opera)
And thank you too - Almaviva
Forgive my ignorance, but who is Eva Mei? I see her name a lot in the library material I get.
Eva Mei is an Italian soprano; you can see her on DVD as Thaïs at La Fenice.

She's a regular at the Zürich Opera and is featured in many DVD recordings from that house. (I have her as Vitellia in La Clemenza di Tito.)
In fact, you can see most of her in that DVD.
Yes, but my implied question is does she have star power enough to go on this list you are compiling? I tried to google her resume. Did I see right...she has performed all around the world, except at the Met?
(OOO! And this is my 50th post! Happy 50 to me!)
Oh, she definitely has star power. She's quite well known in Europe.
Congrats for the 50th post!
And just clarifying, if you didn't get Schigolch's joke - she appears half-naked in that DVD.
You know, a major, major, major star like Anna Caterina Antonacci has never performed at the Met.
One *can* be a major star without performing at the Met (although it is unusual)
