The 'I'll be gone for a while, don't worry, I'll be back soon enough' thread

    Because every forum needs one.

I'll not be on here (at least not much at all) during Easter; I'm attending an orchestra course in Germany which I suspect will take up all of my time and then some. But after the Holidays, I'll be back in full force.

Have a good and nice trip, Aksel, you'll be missed. Please read your PM before you go (I asked you a question about a vBulletin glitch that came up involving your account)

I'm taking a break, or else lurking in the background. I'm tired. I don't know enough about opera to be promoting it. Alma and I have talked at least a couple of times so I'm quite certain there are other people from the Seattle area on the forum. I can't be group leader.

I want to apologize for the thread entry above. Everything I said was true. However, the best thing I can do is persevere. For three months now I have been getting myself ready to see "Madama Butterfly" and a scheduling glitch at the last minute meant I could not go. Naturally, I am disappointed.

This summer, Seattle Opera will be doing "Turandot". That is the next run in the season.

This is an excellent forum and I'm trying to promote it to key people I know. Hopefully more people will join if we can get advertising.

I'm going on holiday tomorrow, and will subsequently be spending three weeks in different parts of France. See you in July!
