    Video linked.

However, I'm not really eager to listen to Ms. Zampieri...

Shocking! I love her voice! But I know nothing about vocal technique, so I will not argue the point.

I am going to re-time these subs to match two different amateur videos I have of "La Wally," both filmed in Lucca.

One is with Giovanna Casolla and the other with Paoletta Marroccu. Do you have a preference as to which I should subtitle first?

Incidentally, my non-Spanish eyes were able to detect at least a few obvious errors in the Spanish subs. I'll have to try to fix those.

    Casolla's instrument was certainly impressive.

Felice Lattuada is maybe more known for to be the composer of many movie soundtracks, even for his son, Alberto.
However he composed a good number of Opera the most famous of which is Le preziose ridicole which shared the same appreciation for the 17th century common with Wolf-Ferrari Opere comiche.

We can listen to this enjoyable work in the performance of 1991.

    La Grange: Sergio Tedesco, tenore
    Croissy: Angelo Veccia, baritono
    Gorgibus: Enrico Fissore, basso
    Madelon: Sylvie Valayre, soprano
    Cathos: Adriana Cicogna, mezzosoprano
    Marotte: Anna Catarci, soprano
il marchese Mascarille: Ezio Di Cesare, tenore
il visconte Jodelet: Roberto Servile, baritono

Orchestra Sinfonica dell'Emilia Romagna "Arturo Toscanini"
Coro del Teatro Comunale Rossini di Lugo diretto da Giampaolo Mazzoli

Giorgio Federico Ghedini was a great lover of ancient music, that was always present in his mind while composing his own pieces.

Ghedini wrote nine operas between 1915 and 1961. Lord Inferno was premiered in 1952:
