Hello!

I've just founded this Forum for introductions. This is a very wonderful site, but I understand very little English, and I don't know to write almost nothing in this lenguage. So, I'm afraid I'll visit Discuss not much. Nevertheless, I'll come into Forum in Spanish from time to time.

Ah, by Bacchus, with this aria I shall receive universal applause. People will say to me, “Bravo maestro!” I, in a very modest manner, shall walk about with bowed head; I’ll have rave reviews…I can become immortal… My mind is vast, my genius swift... And at composing, a thunderbolt am I

Welcome, Loge! Schigolch told us you are a Zarzuela specialist, and I look forward to learning from you.

Thanks a lot! But "specialist" is a very big word for me. I like Zarzuela very much, this is true; and I have some knowledge about Zarzuela that I will pleased to share with you and everybody. But I'm not a master at all!

I do read Spanish very well; have more trouble writing correctly in it, but I'll be reading your Zarzuela articles, or anything else you feel like contributing.

Welcome Loge. I love the few zarzuelas I have heard and look forward to reading your contributions. Like Alma I can read Spanish, but unfortunately can only speak it at tourist level and can't write in it.

Yes, and Loge does speak better English than he claims; he's been contributing to the discussions in the English area as well. Glad to have you, Loge! Don't be shy about writing in English; you know, many of our members don't have English as first language and we're not the grammar or spelling police here; we aim for being an international opera site and the important thing is to communicate with the other members, regardless of small language imperfections; nobody will hold this against you. We all wish we could write in Spanish as well as you can write in English, so, don't hold yourself back, OK?

OK, Ok, I'll try it. In short contributions, I can do something. I hope your love to zarzuela increase with articles I write and Schigolch translates. Soave, Alamaviva, and everybody interested in: I you want some zarzuela music or lyrics, no doubt to ask it for me.
