Opera Lively interviewed via Skype [Opera Lively interview # 65] the very successful Russian bass Ildar Abdrazakov, who has had excellent performances in some of the most prestigious opera houses, including the current title roles in
Le Nozze di Figaro and
Don Giovanni back to back from October through December 2012 at the Metropolitan Opera House, where he was also seen alongside Anna Netrebko last season in Anna Bolena as Henry VIII, and with Anna as well in
