In anticipation of North Carolina Opera's upcoming Wagner concert on January 27 at 3 PM in Raleigh (Meymandi Concert Hall - tickets [
here]), Opera Lively has interviewed mezzo-soprano Elizabeth Bishop, a regular at the Metropolitan Opera and Washington National Opera, who will be singing Sieglinde alongside famed Met tenor Jay Hunter Morris' Siegmund (read his interview with us [
here]) in this concert performance of the first act of
Die Walküre, supplemented with excerpts from other Wagner operas, in which Ms. Bishop will be singing the "Liebestod" from
