We met Alyson Cambridge in person at the Washington National Opera on November 14, 2014. For various reasons it took a long time to publish the interview in full, and while the
La Bohème show we were covering at the time is long gone (see our review of the show [
here] with many photos), Ms. Cambridge has addressed many other interesting topics regarding her eventful career; she is very intelligent, friendly, and articulate, therefore this text is of interest even though it's been a couple of months.
