    Not sure if this qualifies as a 'funny pic' but anyway.

    I was at La traviata at ROH last night and sat on the front row just behind the conductor (Francesco Ivan Ciampa). I always like to have a nose at the conductor's score if I can and I noticed he had a US dollar bill clipped to the left hand page. This dollar bill had a picture of Verdi on it. Was Verdi ever featured on a US dollar bill? I think maybe it was a joke bill and a good luck token.

    Thoughts?

    ^ Strange that the bill is way longer than a U.S. dollar ever has been. Nope, haven't seen Verdi on a U.S. Bill. Maybe only on that mythical $3-bill some folks refer to.
