Western-style operas composed to use non-traditional languages

Let's have a thread to discuss and show examples of Western-style operas which were originally composed (not translated) for languages not represented in the standard repertoire. We could talk about operas whose composers chose a libretto in Catalan, as one hypothetical example.

I'll start things off with my native language showing a few excerpts from a performance of a Chinese-language Western-style opera, composed by 萧白 (Xiao Bai), based on the famous Peking opera, 霸王别姬 (Bà Wáng Bié Jī--"Farewell My Concubine"):

Well, there are a few operas in Catalan.

El giravolt de maig by composer Eduard Toldrà, with a libretto by Josep Carner was premiered in Barcelona, in 1928.

夕鶴 (Yūzuru--"Twilight Crane") is a Japanese language Western-style opera by classical composer 團 伊玖磨 (Ikuma Dan) set word for word to a play of the same name by 木下 順二 (Junji Kinoshita). Here is the finale where tragic wife つう (Tsū), near death, finishes weaving a priceless cloth (from her own essence) for her farmer husband 与ひょう (Yohyō) who has become transfixed by greed, bemoans her fate, and transforms back into the crane that she had been, flying into the night on her final journey:

And because I have a soft spot for operas based on the Cinderella story, here is one which is rare. La Cenicienta is a Spanish language opera by Chilean composer Jorge Peña Hen with a libretto by the Chilean author, Oscar Jara Azocar, performed at the Universidad Nacional del Sur (2013). Interestingly enough, it was composed to be completely performed by children. This is the full opera:
