I don't think eating in Rio is that easy, though. São Paulo, yes, you can eat well practically anywhere, any price you want. Even the most simple looking place will likely feed you good food. Not so much in Rio, I feel. Pizza, for example — which anyone from São Paulo takes for granted — is a complete disaster in Rio. If you're after a really good meal in Rio you better be willing to spend.

São Paulo, among hundreds of other upscale places, boasts D.O.M., widely considered among the best restaurants in the entire world. It's considered to be the best restaurant in South America and it's been ranked as high as 4th best in the world by international restaurant magazines. Cute food too!

Where is the food? All I can see is garnish.

Today the Queen visited Berkhamsted. It was very exciting but this is the best view I had.

She visited the Church of St Peter (just a little visible on the left side of the picture) before visiting the college, where she is entering in the picture. Everyone was waiting from very early in the day. This is the closest I got after waiting for just two hours! It was (still is) a lovely day with blue sky and bright sunshine. The wife guessed she would be wearing sky blue and I guessed orange. I think I win (I can just about make out in the picture it is something close to red).

Can't take the credit, the missing brooch is mentioned in the article.

One hour north of Auckland; we spent the weekend there looking at kingfishers, cormorants, herons, spoonbills and stilts.
