I have been getting ads for Met on Demand; I'll have to check with No. 1 son to see how to get it. I could see stuff that isn't on DVD or that I don't want to buy. But one needs the computer savvy to assist.
BTW, the Met's Maria Stuarda is fantastic. DiDonato continues to amaze!
Computer savvy? It's quite simple; you subscribe, log in, browse the library and click on what you want to see, it plays.

I've already purchased the one month subscription.
Take a look at the catalogue. It is GBP 8 for one month; I guess there will be at least 8 productions I want to watch there but I have not counted yet. Too excited to finally watch GC that I don't think I can count past four at the moment.

I connect my computer to the TV to watch cricket sometimes.
I use an HDMI cable (< GBP 10 at electrical store for 5 meter length)
which works if you have an HDMI port on your computer and TV
then select the input on the TV remote control
