Question: how many recordings are there in Itullian's "first" choice?

my guess is three or four...

Unless the eagle's name is Reggie
I have been an enthusiastic supporter for non-regie productions in another place which you may have missed.

Rameau - Dardanus on culturebox - available to all. Beautiful opera splendidly staged and gorgeously sung.

Just finished watching this opera and am stunned at how wonderful it is. The singing is fantastic. The costumes are fantastic. The production is fantastic in how it happens in front of the orchestra and sometimes interacts with the orchestra. At the end there is even some interaction with the audience. Of all my operas, I think this one will be next for a re-watch.

Very cool singing / dynamic conducting. Production is interesting, if a bit weird.

If need be, Clayton likely would be able to help you source tea cabinets. They seem to be particularly hardy when used to store CD/DVD collections....

I must eat a lot of humble pie.
I always thought this was well, nothing really, I have the one from the Royal Opera House and thought she could not do better.
I still think, the voice is becoming weaker but overall I had a pleasure afternoon watching this production.
Thanks to this forum were I found the reviews and Amazon.FR for a reasonable price
