Not a first choice, but a fun 2nd.
Cast is very good. Tomlinson is a beast
Good stereo sound.

Just finished watching this opera and am stunned at how wonderful it is. The singing is fantastic. The costumes are fantastic. The production is fantastic in how it happens in front of the orchestra and sometimes interacts with the orchestra. At the end there is even some interaction with the audience. Of all my operas, I think this one will be next for a re-watch.

Absolutely incredible......
Yes, it is!

I am on my second trip thorough this amazing production which I purchased about a month ago (and also the CD of the same production):

I am sooooo glad that my shelving has room for both Elisirs! And a plethora of Bohemes and Traviatas, as well. And... and ...
Very cool singing / dynamic conducting. Production is interesting, if a bit weird.

I must eat a lot of humble pie.
I always thought this was well, nothing really, I have the one from the Royal Opera House and thought she could not do better.
I still think, the voice is becoming weaker but overall I had a pleasure afternoon watching this production.
Thanks to this forum were I found the reviews and Amazon.FR for a reasonable price
