More houses need to take the Mets lead on providing a service like Met on demand. There are literally no downsides to the house by doing it except uploading the production a year or several months on (which they already have copies of if it was streamed or televised...) and gaining money from persons being subscribed to the service. The easiest way by far to modernize and attract new audiences or earn revenue from quarters less likely to attend such productions due to time constraints.

The Met on Demand service is fantastic. I took the free subscription and watched about fifteen operas in a week but I have still purchased a couple of months and even bought dvds as I thought I would rewatch several times...
This Cosi ends with Fiordiligi and Guglielmo still together. That makes more sense to me than the supposedly happy ever after end of the original couples getting back together. The conductor obviously had a late train to catch but otherwise the singing and acting were very good.
