I really hope she's able to regain her health and resume singing. She's one of the world's greatest sopranos, probably at the peak of her career, and it would be horrible for her and all of her fans if that beautiful voice were damaged.

I'm worried, no news. Her Instagram post was 9 days ago. I google "Anna Netrebko Covid" and only find news more than a week old and just reproducing the initial news. So I have no idea if she is recovering or getting worse.

Her Facebook has a post supposedly by her (but who knows if it was posted by staff?) re-posting a manifesto by Michael Fabiano protesting the Met season cancellation; he goes on and on calling it safe to perform... hm... no, it's not safe, Michael!

Other than that there are no fresh news on her health although many fans asked the question. Her website doesn't have any update. So we don't know what is going on.

If anybody has heard something please let us know.

Belatedly, this is to confirm that Anna left the hospital in early October and seems to be fine. I just hope she doesn't develop any long-term pulmonary fibrosis. I regret it that Anna has joked about not wearing a mask. We don't need people who have fans and followers to be diminishing the importance of wearing masks.

I don't understand why so many people refuse to take this virus seriously. But that's very good news that La Bellissima didn't require long-term hospitalization and presumably will be able to resume singing.
