Been going with this all day. Intending to listen through all 32. Am into #9 now.

A co-worker who is a pianist (has a full-sized grand piano in his living room and consequently not much else in that room) told me to check out this composer, whom I have never experienced before. I have tried piano concertos before (basically Beethoven) but did not care for them, but there is something wonderful about this work.

I'm feeling more in the mood for non-vocal music -especially at work where it is easier to have as background music. Listening to old favourites Mahler's 4th, Holst the planets, Brahms Hungarian dances, Vaughan Williams , John Adams' and Philip Glass's violin concertos.

I'm on music catch up after a month of music less life while preparing apartment for move later this year.
Listening to cello JdP and MR, various works, Schumann, Grieg, Bach, Mozart. So all over the place as usual.

Going through this, all 15 symphonies, starting at #1. Am up to #7 now. I bought this earlier this year and until tonight had only listened to #7 and #14. Quite wonderful music!
