    It's a while since I watched it though & can't remember much about the production. If I'm in a mood for Simon I always watch the ROH.

    But I'm always biased towards Sherrill Milnes. I would have paid to see him stand in the orchestra pit and sneeze.

    Yes, Milnes in the title role is what has me leaning toward this version.
