What is wrong with owning 100s of opera CDs and DVDs? Not like I am hurting anyone.
It's just me and the opera. What harm is there in a little opera (say about 70 to 100 hours a week)?

Well, when you put it that way.

By the way, my house is sorely in need of paint and much other maintenance, the shrubs are getting overgrown, the law is full of weeds, the car is falling apart, and dust bunnies are piling up all over the house, but hey, what really matters in this life is not mundane items such as that, but so long as I have sleep, food, air and opera, who cares about the rest?

I think it will be a step up from my first recording of Iolanta (Rotman). Not that that one is bad, but this one is better. I see enough Iolanta's out there that I could (if so desired) collect a half dozen of them.

Here we go again. The beauty of music is also the curse: There is so much out there that one cannot stop, but then one does not want to stop! Taking in more orphans (Orpheans). Tis a good deed, isn't it?

I only already had 8 complete rings on CD, but when I saw this for $17,
I figured another Ring could not hurt.

You still need one more: a Ring for each finger *and* thumb.
