It is conceivably true that I have most of those purchases in one form or another.

And the girls LIKE chimneys and dry bread.

Sure, sure. How would they say otherwise? They're afraid that if they did, you wouldn't even feed them the dry bread.

Price was right and I saw a very positive review by Amfortas on Amazon, so...

HA! The girls I know prefer lobster and an expensive wine.

But on topic, I just ordered the forthcoming La Favorite and Giovanna D'Arco from Presto Classical to celebrate my forthcoming birthday, which continues to amaze both family and friends with my longevity. Of course, it is ten days away …

We were talking about Nat's young daughters, not of drinking age. It's a running joke. We say that she refuses to feed her daughters, so that she has more money left to buy opera recordings.

I don't even like this opera, but did buy a second DVD (with Florez) in hopes of acquiring a better impression (UWP so far), and now this? Well part of it is the fascination with opera in English. Besides, when this one is sung in English it might be a good substitute for Gilbert and Sullivan opera, which I don't care for. Oh, and this one has a bonus 3rd disk of highlights including a track from Flotow's Martha--now how could I pass that up when the only other Martha in English is a hack job.
