Another Domingo Cav - Pag DVD, I have the 2nd version shown and realized the 1st version are different performances.

Both Pagliacci have Teresa Stratas but 1st version has Milnes replacing Pons as Tonio

Souliotis buying spree continues in full force.........

Went over to Arkiv music to buy re-issues of these very expensive studio CD sets, fortunately the catalog of studio recordings is quite small so potential damage is contained (to an extent)

Oh D-A are you trying to bankrupt me?! I can't get this from ArkivMusic in Europe, only from US which is no cheaper than Amazon.

I'm on a self-imposed moratorium until March though.

Very young Pavarotti featured in that Verdi MacBeth......

They are on sale at USA site, in case anyone has not purchased one before the Arkiv re-issues are CDR (not mp3) copies and have all original artwork including booklet

Amazon USA has these now for April 12 release date, they will be mine!

I will have to check to see if blu ray will be available for these since they are both 2 DVD sets the blu ray version may be cheaper

You know, before you buy it, if you paste here the link to them on Amazon.com and then you click on the link from inside Opera Lively and complete the purchase, the site earns a small percentage of the sale (no increase in the sale price for you); since you're a prolific buyer, doing this would help defraying costs for Opera Lively. Thanks. Same is valid for all other members, any help is appreciated.
