Yes, it's the Liceu's performance we have been commenting here.

I have a feeling his Lady Macbeth will be EPIC!

Also, that Susan Graham CD should be great.

Anybody intending to buy this? It weighs 7.5kg ~ 16.5 pounds! This is one heavy box, what is in it?

At least around US$270. The seller would probably charge extra because of its weight for freight.

I follow soprano Camilla Roberts and baritone Christopher Maltman on Twitter and both have mentioned recording complete operas for Opera-Rara.

As Aksel mentioned elsewhere Maltman has recorded Rita; Roberts just says 'Donizetti - here I come'. I'll keep checking Opera-Rara's website.

Thinking about it. I do need a new bowling ball.

OK, maybe that's not the best idea.

When will we have a DVD of Die schweigsame Frau starring Natalie Dessay as Aminta? After all, she has sung the role. Well, so has Diana Damrau, but I'm counting on the comical talent of Natalie.
