Just released 12 days ago and it is awesome. I have to get a copy of this one.
My local music shop has it for $24. As soon as they announce their next 20% off sale, I am buying it!

I saw this and was terribly disappointed with Vratogna. He just shouted. I'd seen him live before in Attila and he shouted his way through Ezio.

Barbara won the Grammy for this CD. I just ordered it.
Hm... a Verismo album by Angela, I wonder how it compares with Anna's. Given that Anna's voice is in top shape and Angela's has suffered wear and tear, I bet Anna's is better (at least, like I said, in the tracks when she sings all by herself).

Wasn’t Ludovic Tézier originally scheduled to sing Iago? I don't quite remember the details, but I think Tézier became ill, recovered in time to sing -- and wanted to sing, but the opera house replaced him anyway.

You're right. Tézier went public with the row so that's probably scuppered his chances of ever singing there again!!

Having read the blurb, this sounds worth getting. When the price comes down anyway.
