    Met At-Home Gala, now

Hi, friends. I'm sorry that I haven't been more present. As you can imagine, things have been too busy at the hospital. I hope you are all safe.

I'm watching the extraordinary Met At-Home Gala, for free on metopera.org, 40 singers are singing from their homes all over the world, online.

Joyce DiDonato, Renee Fleming, Jonas Kaufmann, Mathew Polenzani were some of the best so far. Particularly moving was the Met Orchestra playing the Intermezzo from Cavalleria Rusticana, each musician in his/her home, in a very impressive technological feat.

This show will be available until tomorrow 6:45PM, not to be missed!!!

Elina Garanca singing now... I love her. And she looks stunning as usual.

I'm glad to hear you're safe and hope your family members are also okay. Those in the medical/health care professions are really on the "front lines" in the battle against this pandemic. Bless you all!

Extraordinary show. I hope it comes out on blu-ray disc. I cried several times. I'm watching the encore right now, for free on demand until 6 PM today. Don't miss it, my friends. It's moving, extremely beautiful. I publish a review.
