    More exploring on YouTube led me to discover this wonderful lyric-dramatic soprano. Here she is as Leonore . . .

    If the performance of Fidelio from the St. Gallen Festival had been released in audio instead of video format, Id buy it pronto. (Just don't think I'd enjoy a production where Leonore is dressed as a woman right from the start -- and heaven only knows what else the Regisseur has done to this opera.) She's featured in a new video recording of Weber's Euryanthe, which happily has also been released in CD format. Another addition to the wish list!

    Please tell me she will be doing FIdelio on an upcoming DVD release!
