I'm not a Medici subscriber. Can you copy and paste the link to the libretto here?

It's free. You just have to register but you don't have to pay, because it's one of their live shows that are on for a limited time.

What with trying to keep my eyes above waist level and wishing that Zachary Stains would stop singing, I tend to agree. But I liked Mary-Ellen Nesi.

Now that's great quote. Polite but scathing!

Exactly. I was in anguish with the acting direction — the body language, the incessant walking in circles in such a small stage looking like they were all in terrible need to use the bathroom but couldn't because they were on the scene. Ugh. Girls weren't that bad, though, and with the boys at least I could just sit and enjoy the exposed-thighs show and forget the rest. And I do like the music.

Worst part of this is the surprisingly bad recording technical aspects. Camera work is almost amateur: bad framing, uneven white-balance AND aperture (seriously, this is really absurd) between cameras... and microphones seemed to be pointed to the floor, as the wood cracking was terribly present throughout the whole opera. When the fog machine started working in the end of second act I took my headphones off because I though there was something wrong at home, so loud it was.

I haven't heard this one - It is an outstanding cast. I think, though, that it will have to wait until December's budget....

You probably need it now. My favourite Norma by far too.
