Another brilliant presentation by Opera Rara with a great booklet that would fit in to any fine library.
At GBP 28 this has been one of my bargain purchases.

^^^ Been watching the recent "Grimes on the Beach" production. Such a powerful, moving opera.
Yes a confusion of feeling pity, anger, sadness and wanting to go to the pub to recuperate (well actually I can find any reason to go the pub); same as felt after listening to Billy Budd!
In the end just satisfied that listening to these operas invoke these strong emotions.
