I like this recording very much too. (Can't stand Sutherland so the other recording you mention is out for me, however devoted I am to Horne).

Very good recording. KFV is excellent - he handles the role without a hint of strain, although I can see where his voice might take some getting used to. His 'In fernem Land' sent chills down my spine.
