After all this years I still don't get the hysteria about Callas, she leaves me completely cold.

Oh my.
There are always singers who leave some people cold, while having many other devotees. I think it is important to realise that this is a matter of taste, and that we should respect others' tastes however bewildering we find them. This is the way this forum has operated in the past and I would like it to continue this way.
