    I think Berko is an exception to modern towns and we're actually getting a brand new library (as opposed to closing it due to lack of funds)...

    I would like to suggest an opera section and will be asking you about details on yours soon (it is still under construction). Maybe I could even volunteer some time to help start/operate it.

    I am very lucky in that all Auckland libraries are interconnected, you can order any item and wherever it is held, it will be sent to your local branch, often within a couple of days. You can also request purchases, and if the item is available from their usual suppliers they always buy it.
