Funny, I've just been listening his skool mate (prompted by the upcoming CDs thread). This is directed and performed by specialists, is a studio quality recording (actually a live performance from Inssbruck Festival 2010) and is really an excellent opera and performance. I would say a must have for fans of that skool...

This is more like it. Ewa Podleś and Sumi Jo are fantastic. Podleś's range is eye popping and her agility a thing of wonder. If you haven't got it BUY BUY BUY, it's Naxos so very affordable.

That one has both the tragic and the happy endings plus a couple tracks that are appendices, alternate parts or something that I could not quite figure out. I'll be curious how you like it.
