Catching up on the last couple of days. Really not a big fan of Don Pasquale, but Eva Mei is wonderful in this one.

First listen. I like it, especially Gheorghiu. Can't say that it will be my favorite Trovatore though.

I'm doing a lot of DIY projects around the house and find it difficult to listen to opera. Either I get too involved with the opera and find myself just standing there listening with no progress or I get too emotional. Then I might start crying at the standard of work, shout angrily at the tools or start screaming "why?" or something similar at the project.

Wow, I am really liking this one. Are there other releases with better sound? Other performances with Tebaldi? Just curious.

I'm seeing Anna Bolena in a couple of weeks time so doing a bit more homework.
I just adore Nicolai Ghiaurov here.
