"Nyet" isn't really diva-ish enough. She should have flounced off the stage like Gheorghiu did when told she had to wear a blonde wig in Carmen.

One of my problems is that I can't always remember if I posted an opera here in the past and it is a bit of work to try figuring that out by paging back or going through my posts. Anyway, this is a fun one and sung in English:

I just stumbled across this on You Tube and it looks really good, Paisiello's Nina:

Already posted in the small talk thread but this video of the same 1904 butterfly contains subtitles in English for those interested in the changes!

I really wanted the Shostakovich orchestration, and did find it with English subs, but the second one down looks like a much cleaner video but is the Rimsky-Korsakov orchestration. Third one down, no subs, but longer--don't know which orchestration.

Probs watch straight away as it is likely to get taken down.

Wow, this is great. Sawallisch complete Ring on You Tube. Too bad no subtitles. I watched part of Rheingold and would have to say this would be the perfect second set after my 1990 Levine. All the Ring is here in 7 videos queued up on the right hand side if you open it in You Tube. Unfortunately, no commercial DVD release.

EDIT: You have to use THIS LINK to get the side queue of the rest of Sawallisch's ring to show up.
