Given how many English-speaking countries there are in the world, it does seem strange that English subtitles wouldn't be provided. That label may be losing sales as a result.

I have a question for all you lads and lasses who know about sopranos.

As part of my Anna Bolena homework, I'm watching this:

A comment on YouTube is " ... Who the hell could imagine Olga Peretyatko - who must be furthermore quite expensive - was able to sing Anna Bolena? She can barely sing Lucia di Lammermoor!!!" and one of the responses is " ... Not the worst but she is foolish. Itís not for her voice." Therefore more than one person doesn't think she's any good here. To my ears she sounds fine so what's the problem?

You know me, my only question is always "Is the bass any good?"

I didn't listen to the whole thing, just some parts... but I'm not pleased, either. It could be the recording or the compression, or maybe a bad day for her (as we know, it happens), but her voice does sound a bit thin.
